Google Play accepts JPEG or 24-bit PNG screenshots without alpha. Each side must be between 320 and 3840 pixels, and the longer side cannot be more than twice the shorter side. A store listing needs at least two screenshots across supported device types and accepts up to eight screenshots per supported device type. Google recommends at least four 1080-pixel screenshots for app recommendation surfaces. Check the current Play Console requirements for every device category you publish.
