Understanding App Store Screenshot Requirements
Apple requires screenshots for specific device sizes. As of 2026, the only strictly required iPhone size is 6.9" (1320 x 2868px) for iPhone 16 Pro Max / iPhone Air. Apple auto-scales this down to all smaller iPhone classes (6.7", 6.5", 6.3", 6.1", 5.5"). For iPad, the 13" size (2064 x 2752px) is required if your app supports iPad.
You can provide screenshots for optional sizes if you want pixel-perfect quality on specific devices, but Apple will automatically scale your 6.9" screenshots for all smaller iPhones.
All screenshots must be:
